ATATAKAI - KOKORO Project for Children 　　　(Warm Heart Project for Children)

Purpose:   
 To create a SMILE on the Japanese children faces, after the earthquake and tsunami.
  
Objective: 
 Bridging between the Japanese and Dutch children.
  aged between 4 and 12 years. Introducing and Teaching Dutch Flower Design and
  Dutch culture to the Japanese Children.

Action - The Netherlands:

 500 kids from 3 schools in the Netherlands made beautiful drawings with 
 2)
 Japanese kanji 'TOMODACHI' (FRIEND), 'GAMBARIMASHO'(don't give up do 
   your best)' NIHON' (Japan).  The drawings arrived on 20 April 2011.

Action - Japan: 
1)
 START April 2011 -ATATAKAI KOKORO Project for Children

 Connection with Onagawa Daini shogako school in Onagawa-cho 170
   students.
 3)
 28 April 2011 we will visit the school and give a flower demonstration and 
   will hand over the 500 drawings + all the gifts from The Netherlands.

To rebuild the 500 km. long damaged areas in TOHOKU North-East Japan will cost many years.

Our Project will continue, and we hope for a long-time friendship relation between Dutch and the

Japanese school kids.Japanese school kids. The request from head-teacher:  beside teaching
the children please also give flower design lesson to the mothers/care taken. We really would
like to give them a relax time with flower power.
